Secure cardless cash withdrawal

A system comprising:

• a plurality of automated teller machines (ATMs);
• one or more sensor devices;
• a non-transitory memory;
• and
• one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
• in response to receiving a cash request initiated by a user device, selecting, from the plurality of ATMs, one or more ATMs designated for fulfilling the cash request based on a location of the user device;
• detecting, using the one or more sensor devices, that the user device is located within a predetermined distance from a first ATM;
• establishing a wireless short range communication channel with an application of the user device using at least one of the one or more sensor devices corresponding to the first ATM;
• retrieving, using the at least one of the one or more sensor devices via the wireless short range communication channel, data comprising an account identifier associated with a user account from the application of the user device;
• receiving an authorization code from a user via an interface displayed on the first ATM;
• authenticating the user based on the authorization code and a determination that the first ATM is one of the selected one or more ATMs designated for fulfilling the cash request;
• and
• in response to authenticating the user, causing the first ATM to distribute funds from the user account based on the cash request.

A method, comprising:

• in response to receiving a cash request initiated by a first user device, determining, by one or more hardware processors from a plurality of automated teller machines (ATMs), one or more ATMs for fulfilling the cash request based on a location of a second user device;
• detecting, by the one or more hardware processors using one or more sensor devices, that the second user device is located within a predetermined distance from a first ATM;
• using, by the one or more hardware processors, at least one of the one or more sensor device to establish a wireless short range communication channel with the second user device;
• retrieving, by the one or more hardware processors using the at least one of the one or more sensor devices via the wireless short range communication channel, data associated with the cash request from the second user device;
• receiving, by the one or more hardware processors, an authorization code from a user via an interface displayed on the first ATM;
• in response to receiving the authorization code, authenticating, by the one or more hardware processors, the user based on the authorization code and a determination that the first ATM is one of the one or more ATMs determined for fulfilling the cash request;
• and
• in response to authenticating the user, causing, by the one or more hardware processors, the first ATM to distribute funds from a user account associated with the first user device based on the cash request.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium stored thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a machine to perform operations comprising:

• receiving a cash request initiated by a user device;
• selecting, from a plurality of automated teller machines (ATMs), one or more ATMs for fulfilling the cash request based on a location of the user device;
• detecting, using the one or more sensor devices, that the user device is located within a predetermined distance from a first ATM from the plurality of ATMs;
• receiving an authorization code via an interface displayed on the first ATM;
• authenticating the user based on the authorization code;
• and
• in response to authenticating the user, causing the first ATM to distribute funds associated with the cash request.
