Transmitting apparatus and signal processing method thereof

A receiving method comprising:

• receiving a signal from a transmitting apparatus;
• demodulating the signal to generate values;
• deinterleaving the values using a plurality of columns;
• splitting the deinterleaved values into a plurality of groups;
• deinterleaving the plurality of groups;
• and
• decoding values of the deinterleaved plurality of groups based on a low density parity check (LDPC) code,
• wherein each of the plurality of columns comprises a first part and a second part,
• wherein a number of rows of the first part is determined based on a number of the plurality of columns and a number of values of each of the plurality of groups, and
• wherein a number of rows of the second part is determined based on the number of the plurality of columns and the number of the rows of the first part.
