A method for treating mucopolysaccharidosis type 7 in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a composition comprising a recombinant β-glucuronidase, wherein the recombinant β-glucuronidase is administered every other week by continuous intravenous infusion at a dose of 1 mg/kg to 8 mg/kg.
