Abstract
Provided are a method for a user equipment (UE) to perform access barring check in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus supporting the same. The method may include: performing the access barring check for a cell; if access to the cell is barred, starting a barring timer; and if a coverage enhancement (CE) level of the UE is changed in the cell, stopping the started barring timer.

A method for performing, by a user equipment (UE), access barring check in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- performing the access barring check for a cell;
- if access to the cell is barred, starting a barring timer;
- and
- if a coverage enhancement (CE) level of the UE is changed in the cell, stopping the started barring timer.
A user equipment (UE) performing access barring check in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a memory;
- a transceiver;
- and
- a processor, connected to the memory and the transceiver, that:
- performs the access barring check for a cell;
- if access to the cell is barred, starts a barring timer;
- and
- if a coverage enhancement (CE) level of the UE is changed in the cell, stops the started barring timer.
