A method for transmitting signals on a transmission channel, comprising:
- detecting a channel occupancy of a transmission channel by processing data from a receiving path after an activation of a transmission path;
- and
- deactivating the transmission path based on the detected channel occupancy.
A communication device for transmitting signals on a transmission channel, comprising:
- processing circuitry;
- memory containing instructions executable by the processing circuitry whereby the communication device is operative to:
- detect a channel occupancy of the transmission channel by processing data from a receiving path after an activation of a transmission path;
- and
- deactivate the transmission path based on the detected channel occupancy.
A non-transitory computer readable recording medium storing a computer program product for controlling communication device for transmitting signals on a transmission channel, the computer program product comprising software instructions which, when run on processing circuitry of the communication device, causes the communication device to:
- detect a channel occupancy of a transmission channel by processing data from a receiving path after an activation of a transmission path;
- and
- deactivate the transmission path based on the detected channel occupancy.
