Method and apparatus for uplink scheduling on logical channel priority in mobile communication system

A method of a base station for receiving uplink data, comprising:

• transmitting information on mapping restrictions for a plurality of logical channels to a terminal;
• transmitting an uplink (UL) grant to the terminal;
• and
• receiving uplink data based on a logical channel selected from the plurality of logical channels based on the information on mapping restrictions and the UL grant.

A terminal for transmitting uplink data, the terminal comprising:

• a transceiver configured to:
• receive signals from a base station, and
• transmit signals to the base station;
• and
• a controller coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
• control the transceiver to receive information on mapping restrictions for a plurality of logical channels from the base station;
• control the transceiver to receive an uplink (UL) grant from the base station;
• select a logical channel from the plurality of logical channels based on the information on mapping restrictions and the UL grant;
• and
• control the transceiver to transmit uplink data based on the selected logical channel to the base station.

A base station for receiving uplink data, the base station comprising:

• a transceiver configured to:
• receive signals from a terminal, and
• transmit signals to the terminal;
• and
• a controller coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
• control the transceiver to transmit information on mapping restrictions for a plurality of logical channels to the terminal,
• control the transceiver to transmit an uplink (UL) grant to the terminal, and
• control the transceiver to receive uplink data based on a logical channel selected from the plurality of logical channels based on the information on mapping restrictions and the UL grant.
