Endoscopy system and method for processing image of the same

An endoscopy system comprising:

• an image signal generator which is connected to one side of a cable, and which is configured to amplify an image signal of inner body having n frames per second and an additional image signal of inner body having m frames per second so that it is possible to transmit the image signal and the additional image signal via the cable;
• a signal processor which is connected to the other side of the cable, and which is configured to damp the image signal and the additional image signal transmitted through the cable, and to transmit the image signal and the additional image signal to a first transmission path and a second transmission path respectively;
• a central processing unit configured to transmit the additional image signal transmitted via the second transmission path at a speed lower than a transmission speed of the image signal in the first transmission path;
• and
• an image processing unit configured to overlap the image signal transmitted through the first transmission path and the additional image signal output from the central processing unit.

A method for processing an image of an endoscopy system, the method comprising:

• amplifying and transmitting an image signal of inner body so as to achieve transmission of the image signal through a cable of an endoscope;
• damping the image signal transmitted through the cable;
• outputting a user interface for the image signal and an operation control signal according to a handling of the user interface of a user;
• and
• overlapping the user interface on the image signal and processing the image signal according to the operation control signal.
