Methods for transmitting uplink signal and downlink signal, ue and base station

A method for transmitting a downlink signal, the method comprising:

• detecting, by a base station, a beam failure recovery request message;
• determining, by the base station and according to detected beam failure recovery request message, at least one of whether there is a candidate downlink transmission beam(s) or candidate downlink transmission beam information in a UE;
• and
• transmitting, by the base station and according to a result of determining, a feedback message corresponding to the beam failure recovery request message.

A user equipment, comprising:

• a transceiver configured to detect whether there is a beam failure;
• a controller configured to:
• determine at least one of whether there is a candidate downlink transmission beam(s) or candidate downlink transmission beam information if the transceiver detects that there is a beam failure;
• and
• control the transceiver to transmit, according to a result of determination of the controller, a beam failure recovery request message to a base station,
• wherein the beam failure recovery request message is used for informing the base station of at least one of whether there is a candidate downlink transmission beam(s) or candidate downlink transmission beam information.

A base station, comprising:

• a transceiver configured to detect a beam failure recovery request message;
• a controller configured to:
• determine, according to the beam failure recovery request message detected by the transceiver, at least one of whether there is a candidate downlink transmission beam(s) or candidate downlink transmission beam information in a user equipment;
• and
• control the transceiver to transmit, by the base station and according to a result of determination of controller, a feedback message corresponding to the beam failure recovery request message.
