A commodity sales data processing apparatus includes an input module, an extraction module, a summing module, and a print control module. The input module receives input of identification information capable of identifying transaction information, stored in a storage section. The summing module sums a plurality of the transaction information extracted by the extraction module. The print control module prints a summation receipt in which the plurality of the transaction information summed by the summing module is arranged chronologically, and prints a summation origin receipt that cannot be summed as the summation origin receipt relates to the transaction information that has been summed by the summing module.
