Method and system for identifying emails and calendar events associated with projects of an enterprise entity

A non-transitory machine-readable medium having instructions stored therein, which when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations of identifying activities associated with projects, the operations comprising:

• querying a customer relationship management (CRM) system to obtain a project associated with an entity;
• obtaining a first list of one or more contacts associated with the project from the CRM system;
• for each of the contacts in the first list, determining a domain name associated with the contact;
• determining a first set of email addresses based on the domain name and the contacts using a first set of email identification rules;
• and
• querying an email server to retrieve a list of one or more emails and/or calendar events based on the first set of email addresses.

A computer-implemented method for identifying activities associated with projects, the method comprising:

• presenting a list of one or more projects within a first display area of a display, wherein the list of projects is retrieved from a customer relation management (CRM) system;
• in response to a first user input selecting a first of the project, querying the CRM system to determine a set of email addresses associated with the first project;
• accessing an email server to obtain a list of emails and/or calendar events based on the set of email addresses;
• and
• presenting one or more graphical representations representing the list of emails in the list in a second display area, wherein the graphical representations are displayed in a calendar view based on transaction time of the emails.
