Methods and Systems for Requesting and Displaying UAV Information

A computing system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• a non-transitory computer readable medium;
• and
• program instructions stored on the non-transitory computer readable medium and executable by the one or more processors to:
• display a graphical interface comprising an interface feature that indicates unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) assignments;
• receive a message comprising a UAV identifier that identifies a particular UAV assigned to a particular item based on a UAV-assignment request for the particular item;
• and
• use the received UAV identifier as a basis for displaying, on the graphical interface, (i) a graphical identifier of the particular UAV assigned to the particular item based on the UAV-assignment request for the particular item and (ii) a graphical identifier of the particular item.

A server comprising:

• one or more processors;
• a non-transitory computer readable medium;
• and
• program instructions stored on the non-transitory computer readable medium and executable by the one or more processors to:
• receive an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assignment request for a particular item;
• based on the UAV-assignment request for the particular item, assign a particular UAV to the particular item;
• and
• instruct a computing system to display, on a graphical interface comprising an interface feature that indicates UAV assignments, (i) a graphical identifier of the particular UAV assigned to the particular item based on the UAV-assignment request for the particular item and (ii) a graphical identifier of the particular item.
