Abstract

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a connecting material. The first substrate includes a first edge and a second edge in the first direction, a third edge in a second direction, a first round corner between the first edge and the third edge, a first electrode at the third edge, a pad electrode on a first edge side, and a connection line which electrically connects the first electrode and the pad electrode. The second substrate includes a basement having a through hole, and a second electrode around the through hole. The connecting material electrically connects the first electrode and the second electrode via the through hole. The connection line has a first portion which is rounded at the first round corner.

Dependent claims

A display device comprising:

a first substrate including a first edge and a second edge which are elongated in the first direction, a third edge which is elongated in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a first round corner located between the first edge and the third edge, a first electrode arranged at the third edge, a pad electrode arranged on a first edge side, and a connection line which electrically connects the first electrode and the pad electrode;
a second substrate which is opposed to the first substrate, including a basement having a through hole, and a second electrode located around the through hole;
and
a connecting material which electrically connects the first electrode and the second electrode via the through hole, wherein
the connection line has a first portion which is rounded at the first round corner.
