Abstract
A structural element for use in a radiotherapy system or a magnetic resonance imaging system or a combination of a radiotherapy system and a magnetic resonance imaging system includes a plurality of fibers and a matrix, whereby the plurality of fibers are embedded in the matrix.

A structural element for use in a radiotherapy system or a magnetic resonance imaging system or a combination of a radiotherapy system and a magnetic resonance imaging system, the structural element comprising:
- a plurality of fibers;
- and
- a matrix,
- wherein the plurality of fibers are embedded in the matrix.
