Abstract
A method of measuring signals from a surface. The method comprises: placing on the surface a flexible sensing device having an array of coated electrodes, wherein at least one electrode of the array is metallic and is at least partially coated by a polymer; and collecting signals from the sensing device.
Claims24
A method of measuring signals from a surface, the method comprising:
- placing on the surface a sensing device having an array of dry electrodes, such that the electrodes conform with the shape of the surface and there is a direct contact between the electrodes and the surface;
- and
- collecting signals from said sensing device.
A method of measuring signals from a surface, the method comprising:
- placing on the surface a flexible sensing device having an array of coated electrodes such that the electrodes conform with the shape of the surface and, wherein at least one electrode of said array is metallic and is at least partially coated by a polymer;
- and
- collecting signals from said sensing device.
A method of fabricating a sensing device, the method comprising:
- printing metallic electrodes on a flexible substrate to form an array;
- and
- applying plasma coating to said metallic electrodes, to induce polymerization of a monomer to a polymer onto said electrodes, wherein said plasma coating is characterized by a monomer vapor pressure of less than 1 mbar.
