Abstract
A method for producing a light transmissive optical component (10) is disclosed. The method comprises 3D printing a stack (1) of at least two layers (2). Each layer (2) is a biconvex cylinder lens having an optical axis (OA) perpendicular to a stacking direction (S) of the stack (1).
Claims13
A method for producing a light transmissive optical component, wherein the method comprises 3D printing a stack of at least two layers, wherein the at least two layers are made of materials having different indices of refraction, wherein each layer is a biconvex cylinder lens having an optical axis perpendicular to a stacking direction of the stack, and wherein the stack is 3D printed using fused deposition modeling.
(canceled)
A light transmissive optical component that is 3D printed using fused deposition modeling, the optical component comprising a stack of two or more layers, wherein the two or more layers are made of materials having different indices of refraction, and wherein each layer is a biconvex cylinder lens having an optical axis perpendicular to a stacking direction of the stack.
