Medication Packaging Method and System

A method of providing a uniquely identifiable packaged medication to a first member of a family, the family comprising a plurality of members including the first member, the method comprising:

• processing a prescription for the first member of the family;
• referring to a pre-recorded family member listing identifying each one of the plurality of members of the family and a different color recorded for each of the plurality of members of the family;
• coupling a color-coded identifier to a curved front wall of a medication container;
• sliding a medication information card into a slot adjacent to a planar rear wall of the medication container for the medication, the color-coded identifier being initially formed separately from the medication container and being selected to have the recorded color corresponding to the first member of the plurality of members of the family as indicated in the pre-recorded family member listing as compared to other colors corresponding to other members of the family;
• dispensing a medication identified in the prescription into the medication container coupled with the color-coded identifier;
• and
• delivering the medication container filled with the medication to the first member of the plurality of family members.
