Abstract
Some demonstrative embodiments include devices, systems and methods of providing offloadability information to a User Equipment (UE). For example, a core network (CN) may provide to the UE Packet Data Network (PDN) offloadability information corresponding to one or more PDN connections of the UE, the PDN offloadability information indicating which PDN connection of the one or more PDN connections is able to be offloaded to a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN).

An apparatus comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor configured to cause a Mobility Management Entity (MME) to:
- receive from a home subscriber server (HSS), via a first interface, first offloadability information to indicate if wireless local area network (WLAN) offload is allowed for an access point name (APN);
- determine second offloadability information to indicate WLAN offloadability of a packet data network (PDN) connection;
- and
- provide the second offloadability information to a user equipment (UE) via a second interface.
An apparatus comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor configured to cause a User Equipment (UE) to:
- receive, from an evolved Node B (eNB), offloadability information to indicate a wireless local area network (WLAN) offloadability indication for a packet data network (PDN) connection;
- and
- perform traffic steering to or from the WLAN based on the offloadability information for the PDN connection.
A product including one or more tangible non-transitory computer-readable storage media comprising computer-executable instructions operable to, when executed by at least one computer processor, enable the at least one computer processor to cause a Mobility Management Entity (MME) to:
- receive from a home subscriber server (HSS), via a first interface, first offloadability information to indicate if wireless local area network (WLAN) offload is allowed for an access point name (APN);
- determine second offloadability information to indicate WLAN offloadability of a packet data network (PDN) connection;
- and
- provide the second offloadability information to a user equipment (UE) via a second interface.
