Abstract
A display apparatus includes a communication interface comprising communication interface circuitry configured to communicate with an external electronic device, a memory that stores a first user interface, a display, and a processor. The processor is configured to receive an image including a second user interface from a content providing device through the communication interface, to determine a position of the second user interface included in the received image, and to display the first user interface on the display separately from the second user interface.
Claims20
A display apparatus comprising:
- a communication interface comprising communication interface circuitry configured to communicate with an external electronic device;
- a memory configured to store a first user interface;
- a display;
- and
- a processor,
- wherein the processor is configured to:
- receive an image including a second user interface from a content providing device through the communication interface,
- determine a position of the second user interface included in the received image, and
- display the first user interface on the display separately from the second user interface.
A method of separately displaying a user interface of a display apparatus, the method comprising:
- receiving an image including a second user interface, from a content providing device through a communication interface;
- changing the user interface;
- determining a position of the second user interface;
- and
- displaying a first user interface separately from the second user interface.
