Abstract
A method for adding electronic properties to an electronic document is provided. The method includes generating the electronic document from a paper document. Content is then identified from the electronic document. An electronic copy of the electronic document is searched using the content. Electronic properties of the content are extracted from the electronic copy and applied to the content of the electronic document.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method for adding electronic properties to an electronic document generated from a paper document, the method comprising:
- generating the electronic document from the paper document;
- identifying content of the electronic document;
- searching an electronic copy of the electronic document using the content;
- extracting electronic properties of the content from the electronic copy;
- and
- applying the electronic properties to the content of the electronic document.
An apparatus for adding electronic properties to an electronic document, the apparatus comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors electronically coupled to the memory, the one or more processors, in conjunction with the memory, configured to perform
- identifying content of the electronic document;
- searching an electronic copy of the electronic document using the content;
- extracting electronic properties of the content from the electronic copy;
- and
- applying the electronic properties to the content of the electronic document.
A non-transient computer readable medium for storing computer instructions that when executed by at least one processor causes the at least one processor to perform a method for adding electronic properties to an electronic document, the method comprising:
- generating the electronic document that lacks electronic properties;
- identifying content of the electronic document;
- searching an electronic copy of the electronic document using the content;
- extracting electronic properties of the content from the electronic copy;
- and
- applying the electronic properties to the content of the electronic document.
