A method, comprising:
- initiating a transition of a correlated electron switch device from a first impedance state having first particular approximate resistance and capacitance characteristics to a second impedance state having second particular approximate resistance and capacitance characteristics at least in part by applying a voltage across the correlated electron switch device, wherein the voltage at least meets a threshold voltage level, and controlling a current through the correlated electron switch device at least in part to cause a concentration of electrons within the correlated electron switch device to at least meet a threshold concentration level.
An apparatus, comprising:
- a correlated electron switch device to transition from a first impedance state to include first particular approximate resistance and capacitance characteristics to a second impedance state to include second particular approximate resistance and capacitance characteristics at least in part in response to application of a voltage across the correlated electron switch device, wherein the voltage at least to meet a threshold voltage level, and at least in part in response to control of a current through the correlated electron switch device at least in part to cause a concentration of electrons within the correlated electron switch device to at least meet a threshold concentration level.
The apparatus of claim 42, wherein the current through the correlated electron switch device to be controlled at least in part via control of a current through the current source device.
