Abstract
A stainless steel sheet for a separator of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell includes a substrate made of stainless steel and a Sn alloy layer with which a surface of the substrate is coated. The Sn alloy layer includes 10 or more microcracks per cm2.

A stainless steel sheet for a separator of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell, comprising:
- a substrate made of stainless steel;
- and
- a Sn alloy layer with which a surface of the substrate is coated, wherein
- the Sn alloy layer includes 10 or more microcracks per cm2.
