A communication apparatus includes a display; an application processor that is configured to control update of the display; and a modem processor that is configured to control a modem, wherein the modem processor is further configured to control the update of the display in place of the application processor.

A communication apparatus comprising:
- a display;
- an application processor that is configured to control update of the display;
- and
- a modem processor that is configured to control a modem,
- wherein the modem processor is further configured to control the update of the display in place of the application processor.
A method for controlling a communication apparatus including a display, an application processor that is configured to control update of the display, and a modem processor that is configured to control a modem, wherein the modem processor controls the update of the display in place of the application processor.
