The computer instructions are arranged to direct the multiprocessor computing system to identify a gathering to view an event at a venue. The computer instructions are further arranged to direct the multiprocessor computing system to determine a total possible attendance at the gathering, determine a regional popularity of the event, determine a global popularity of the event, and predict an expected attendance at the venue by cooperatively attenuating the total possible attendance based on a combination of the regional popularity of the event and the global popularity of the event.
