Abstract
Systems and methods are described for an audience derivation system to build user profiles based on user interactions with distributed media content, such as filters. The audience derivation system may be or include any instrumentality or aggregate of instrumentalities operable to compute, process, store, display, generate, communicate, or apply various forms of data for user profile building, audience derivation, control, or other purposes.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- at least one hardware processor couple to the memory and comprising an audience derivation application that causes the system to perform operations comprising:
- detecting a trigger event via a client device, the client device associated with a user account that includes user attributes;
- loading media content at the client device in response to the trigger event;
- receiving a request to access the media content from the client device;
- retrieving the user attributes associated with the user account of the client device from the client device in response to the request to access the media content from the client device and the detecting of the trigger event;
- and
- generating a user profile based on the trigger event, the media content, and the user attributes.
A method including:
- detecting a trigger event via a client device, the client device associated with a user account that includes user attributes;
- loading media content at the client device in response to the trigger event;
- receiving a request to access the media content from the client device;
- retrieving the user attributes associated with the user account of the client device from the client device in response to the request to access the media content from the client device and the detecting of the trigger event;
- and
- generating a user profile based on the trigger event, the media content, and the user attributes.
A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations including:
- detecting a trigger event via a client device, the client device associated with a user account that includes user attributes;
- loading media content at the client device in response to the trigger event;
- receiving a request to access the media content from the client device;
- retrieving the user attributes associated with the user account of the client device from the client device in response to the request to access the media content from the client device and the detecting of the trigger event;
- and
- generating a user profile based on the trigger event, the media content, and the user attributes.
