Method and system for generating service receipts

A method of generating receipts using a receipt processor and a database, the database defining at least one services membership, each said services membership having an associated treatment plan definition, the method comprising:

• the receipt processor receiving, from an input device of the receipt processor, an indication of one services membership,
• the receipt processor determining that one service is authorized by the treatment plan definition associated with the one services membership,
• the receipt processor determining that a current value of services associated with the one services membership is less than a maximum amount defined in the one services membership,
• the receipt processor issuing a receipt for a value of the one service,
• the receipt processor determining that another service is authorized by the treatment plan definition associated with the one services membership,
• the receipt processor determining that another current value of services associated with the one services membership is not less than the maximum amount defined in the one services membership, and
• the receipt processor withholding issuing a receipt for the another service.
