Abstract
An air conditioner is provided that may include a main body having an air inlet and an air outlet; a filter received in the main body to filter air; a heat exchanger configured to allow heat exchange between a refrigerant and air suctioned into the main body; and a lamp module configured to radiate ultraviolet (UV) rays and infrared (IR) rays to the heat exchanger. The lamp module may include a porous main body, a plurality of UV lamps, and a plurality of IR lamps. The plurality of UV lamps and the plurality of IR lamps may be arranged in parallel on one surface of the porous main body at predetermined intervals.
Claims20
An air conditioner, comprising:
- a main body;
- a filter received in the main body to filter air;
- a heat exchanger configured to allow heat exchange between a refrigerant and the air suctioned into the main body;
- and
- a lamp module configured to radiate ultraviolet (UV) rays and infrared (IR) rays to the heat exchanger, wherein the lamp module includes a porous main body, a plurality of UV lamps, and a plurality of IR lamps, and wherein the plurality of UV lamps and the plurality of IR lamps are arranged in parallel on one surface of the porous main body at predetermined intervals.
An air conditioner, comprising:
- a main body including a front frame and a rear frame;
- an air inlet provided between the front frame and the rear frame;
- a filter received in the main body;
- a heat exchanger spaced from the filter toward the rear frame;
- a fan configured to blow air passing through the heat exchanger toward an air outlet;
- a drain provided adjacent to a bottom surface of the heat exchanger;
- a porous main body coupled to an inner side of the front frame and an inner side of the rear frame;
- a plurality of holders mounted on a surface of the porous main body facing the filter;
- and
- a plurality of ultraviolet (UV) lamps and a plurality of infrared (IR) lamps mounted on the plurality of holders, wherein the heat exchanger includes a vertical portion at a top of the drain, a front tilted portion that extends from a top of the vertical portion to a top of a rear portion, and a rear tilted portion that extends from a top of the front tilted portion to a bottom of a rear portion, and wherein the plurality of UV lamps is provided in holders mounted on a surface facing the front tilted portion and the rear tilted portion of the heat exchanger among the plurality of holders, and the plurality of IR lamps is provided in holders mounted on a surface facing the vertical portion of the heat exchanger among the plurality of holders.
An air conditioner, comprising:
- a main body having a front opening on a front surface thereof;
- a front panel configured to open and close the front opening of the main body;
- a filter received in the main body to filter air;
- a lamp support body provided on a surface of the front panel facing the filter;
- a plurality of holders arranged on a surface of the lamp support body facing the filter so as to be spaced at predetermined intervals;
- and
- a plurality of infrared (IR) lamps provided in the plurality of holders having a constant interval from the filter among the plurality of holders;
- and
- a plurality of ultraviolet (UV) lamps provided in the plurality of holders where the plurality of IR lamps is not provided among the plurality of holders.
