There is provided a polymerizable composition for an optical material including a polyether-modified compound having a polyether group represented by General Formula (4) below, and a polymerization reactive compound. (In General Formula (4), R25 represents a linear or branched alkylene group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R26 represents a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a linear or branched alkenyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, or a linear or branched alkynyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, a plurality of present R25's may be the same or different, and k is an integer equal to or more than 1.)
