Radiographic imaging apparatus, radiation irradiation apparatus, and method of controlling the radiographic imaging apparatus

A radiographic imaging apparatus comprising:

• a support;
• a radiation emitter connected to the support, and configured to rotate with respect to an axis of rotation to change an irradiation direction of radiation;
• a brake configured to stop the radiation emitter at a plurality of irradiation angles;
• and
• a weight adder configured to apply an additional weight to a location spaced from the axis of rotation so that the radiation emitter rotates with respect to the axis of rotation.

A method of controlling a radiographic imaging apparatus, comprising:

• disposing a radiation detector at a first position;
• moving the radiation detector in a up direction or in a down direction by an additional weight applied by a weight adder, when a brake is released;
• detecting a position of the radiation detector;
• operating the brake according to the position of the radiation detector;
• and
• stopping the radiation detector at a second position by the operation of the brake.
