Abstract
A base station according to one embodiment comprises a transmitter configured to transmit a downlink control channel for a radio terminal to receive, in an idle mode, a paging message; and a controller configured to retransmit a paging message addressed to the radio terminal, if an extended DRX using a second DRX cycle longer than a first DRX cycle is configured to the radio terminal.

A base station, comprising:
- a transmitter configured to transmit a downlink control channel for a radio terminal to receive, in an idle mode, a paging message;
- and
- a controller configured to retransmit a paging message addressed to the radio terminal, if an extended DRX using a second DRX cycle longer than a first DRX cycle is configured to the radio terminal.
An apparatus provided in a base station, comprising:
- a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, the processor configured to execute the processes of:
- transmitting a downlink control channel for a radio terminal to receive, in an idle mode, a paging message;
- and
- retransmitting a paging message addressed to the radio terminal, if an extended DRX using a second DRX cycle longer than a first DRX cycle is configured to the radio terminal.
