System and Method for Changing the View of a Trading Screen

A method for repositioning market information comprising:

• displaying, via a display device of a computing device, a trading interface having a plurality of axially aligned price levels for a tradeable object, where each price level of the plurality of axially aligned price levels is configured to receive a user-selection to electronically submit an order to an electronic exchange at the price level;
• and
• receiving, via a user input device of a computing device, a user input to identify a price level of a plurality of axially aligned price levels;
• and
• in response to receiving the user input, repositioning the identified price level to a predetermined location relative to the trading interface.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having computer executable instructions stored thereon, which when executed by a processor cause the processor to carry out acts comprising:

• receiving, via a user input device of a computing device, a user input to identify a price level of a plurality of axially aligned price levels for a tradeable object, the plurality of axially aligned price levels being displayed via an output device of the computing device;
• and
• realigning at least a portion of the plurality of axially aligned price levels via the computing device, where the user-identified price level is repositioned to a predetermined location at a user identified repositioning rate.
• displaying, via a display device of a computing device, a trading interface having a plurality of axially aligned price levels for a tradeable object, where each price level of the plurality of axially aligned price levels is configured to receive a user-selection to electronically submit an order to an electronic exchange at the price level;
• and
• receiving, via a user input device of a computing device, a user input to identify a price level of a plurality of axially aligned price levels;
• and
• in response to receiving the user input, repositioning the identified price level to a predetermined location relative to the trading interface.
