Abstract
An air flow controller for an air cleaner and an air cleaner are provided. The air flow controller may include a fan, and a housing, the fan being provided in the housing and the housing being movable from an initial horizontal position in which the air flow controller directs air flow in a vertical direction to an inclined position in which the air flow controller directs air flow in a diagonal direction.

An air cleaner, comprising:
- an air cleaning module including a first fan;
- an air flow controller movably provided at a side of the air cleaning module, the air flow controller including a second fan;
- an air guide that communicates with the air flow controller to allow air to flow into the air flow controller, wherein the air flow controller includes:
- a flow guide including an inlet into which air passing through the first fan is introduced;
- and
- a rotation guide configured to guide rotation in a lateral direction and rotation in a vertical direction of the air flow controller, the rotation guide including a first gear that communicates with the air guide and a second gear that communicates with the rotation guide, and wherein the flow guide and the rotation guide rotate in the lateral direction of the air flow controller when the first gear and the air guide communicate with each other, and the flow guide rotates in the vertical direction of the air flow controller when the second gear and the rotation guide communicate with each other.

- an air cleaning module including a first fan;
- an air flow controller movably provided adjacent to the air cleaning module, the air flow controller including a second fan;
- an air guide that communicates with the air flow controller to allow air to flow into the air flow controller, wherein the air flow controller includes:
- a flow guide including an inlet into which air passing through the first fan is introduced;
- and
- a rotation guide configured to guide rotation in a lateral direction and rotation in a vertical direction of the air flow controller, the rotation guide including a first gear that communicates with a first rack of the air guide to rotate the flow guide and the rotation guide rotate in the lateral direction and a second gear that communicates with a second rack of the rotation guide to rotate the flow guide in a vertical direction.
