A composition comprising one or more dietary ingredient compounds, one or more surfactants and one or more lipid carriers;
- wherein the composition has enhanced bioavailability relative to the unformulated compound.
A method of increasing the bioavailability of a dietary ingredient compound, the method comprising:
- (i) combining the compound with one or more surfactants, one or more single chain conjugated lipids and optionally one or more solvents to form a mixture;
- (ii) heating the mixture to at least about 60° C.;
- (iii) blending the mixture to homogeneity;
