Abstract
In one implementation, a method for topology based management with compliance policies can include associating a topology with an application, determining, for each node or topology subset, a compliance policy to define a desired state of a node of the topology, associating the compliance policy to the node of the topology, and managing the topology based on the compliance policy associated to the node of the topology

A method for topology based management with compliance policies, comprising:
- associating a topology with an application;
- determining, for each node or topology subset, a compliance policy to define a desired state of a node of the topology;
- associating the compliance policy to the node of the topology;
- and
- managing the topology based on the compliance policy associated to the node of the topology.
A system for facilitating topology based management with compliance policies, comprising:
- a platform to develop, test, stage, execute, and support cloud service management, the platform comprising a number of engines to:
- associate a topology with an application;
- determine a compliance policy to define a desired state of a node of the topology;
- associate the compliance policy to the node of the topology;
- and
- manage the topology based on the compliance policy associated to the node of the topology.
A computer program product for facilitating topology based management of with compliance policies, the computer program product comprising:
- a computer readable storage medium comprising computer usable program code embodied therewith, the computer usable program code comprising:
- computer usable program code to, when executed by a processor, associate a topology with an application;
- computer usable program code to, when executed by a processor, determine a compliance policy to define a desired state of a node of the topology;
- computer usable program code to, when executed by a processor, associate the compliance policy to the node of the topology;
- and
- computer usable program code to, when executed by a processor, manage the topology based on the compliance policy associated to the node of the topology.
