Method and apparatus for transmitting signal in wireless communication

A base station in a wireless communication system comprising:

• a transceiver configured to transmit and/or receive signals;
• and
• a controller configured to:
• determine whether a carrier is a dedicated carrier for multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS);
• create system information containing a condition information indicating whether a carrier is a dedicated carrier for the MBMS;
• and
• transmit the created system information to a terminal.

A method for a terminal to perform communication in a wireless communication system comprising:

• receiving system information from a base station;
• determining whether a carrier is a dedicated carrier for multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) based on the system information;
• and
• receiving data based on a result of the determination.

A terminal in a wireless communication system comprising:

• a transceiver configured to transmit and/or receive signals;
• and
• a controller configured to:
• control the transceiver to receive system information from a base station;
• determine whether a carrier is a dedicated carrier for multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) based on the system information;
• and
• control the transceiver to receive data based on a result of the determination.
