Method and user equipment for receiving downlink signal, and method and base station for transmitting downlink signal

A method of transmitting a downlink signal at a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• transmitting narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) anchor physical resource block (PRB) information indicating PRBs (NB-IoT anchor PRBs) where an NB-IoT synchronization signal (SS) can be present;
• transmitting frequency resource information indicating a frequency resource to which the downlink signal is mapped;
• and
• transmitting the downlink signal using the frequency resource based on the frequency resource information,
• wherein, when the frequency resource comprises a first PRB used as a first NB-IoT anchor PRB indicated by the NB-IoT anchor PRB information, and a subframe having the downlink signal is a first NB-IoT SS subframe having an SS of the first NB-IoT anchor PRB, a portion of the downlink signal mapped to the first PRB in the downlink signal mapped to the frequency resource is not transmitted in the first NB-IoT SS subframe.

A user equipment for receiving a downlink signal in a wireless communication system, the user equipment comprising:

• a radio frequency (RF) unit;
• and
• a processor configured to control the RF unit,
• wherein the processor is configured to:
• control the RF unit to receive narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) anchor physical resource block (PRB) information indicating PRBs (NB-IoT anchor PRBs) where an NB-IoT synchronization signal (SS) can be present;
• control the RF unit to receive frequency resource information indicating a frequency resource to which the downlink signal is mapped;
• and
• control the RF unit to receive the downlink signal using the frequency resource based on the frequency resource information,
• wherein, when the frequency resource comprises a first PRB used as a first NB-IoT anchor PRB indicated by the NB-IoT anchor PRB information, and a subframe having the downlink signal is a first NB-IoT SS subframe having an SS of the first NB-IoT anchor PRB, the processor assumes that a portion of the downlink signal mapped to the first PRB in the downlink signal mapped to the frequency resource is not transmitted in the first NB-IoT SS subframe.

A base station for transmitting a downlink signal in a wireless communication system, the base station comprising:

• a radio frequency (RF) unit;
• and
• a processor configured to control the RF unit,
• wherein the processor is configured to:
• control the RF unit to transmit narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) anchor physical resource block (PRB) information indicating PRBs (NB-IoT anchor PRBs) where an NB-IoT synchronization signal (SS) can be present;
• control the RF unit to transmit frequency resource information indicating a frequency resource mapped to the downlink signal;
• and
• control the RF unit to transmit the downlink signal using the frequency resource based on the frequency resource information,
• wherein, when the frequency resource comprises a first PRB used as a first NB-IoT anchor PRB indicated by the NB-IoT anchor PRB information, and a subframe having the downlink signal is a first NB-IoT SS subframe having an SS of the first NB-IoT anchor PRB, the processor controls the RF unit not to transmit, in the first NB-IoT SS subframe, a portion of the downlink signal mapped to the first PRB in the downlink signal mapped to the frequency resource.
