Interworking between physical network and virtual network

A device for interworking between a physical network and a virtual network, the device comprising:

• a configuring module that configures routing information for a network connection container, the network connection container including:
• a first virtual LAN interface that connects to a physical network;
• a second virtual LAN interface that connects to a virtual network;
• and
• a virtual extensible LAN interface that connects the first virtual LAN interface and the second virtual LAN interface;
• and
• a transmission module that transmits packets between the physical network and the virtual network via the network connection container based on the routing information.

One or more memories stored thereon computer-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the processor to perform acts comprising:

• configuring routing information for a network connection container, the network connection container including:
• a first virtual LAN interface configured to connect to a physical network;
• a second virtual LAN interface configured to connect to a virtual network;
• and
• a virtual extensible LAN interface configured to connect the first virtual LAN interface and the second virtual LAN interface;
• and
• transmitting packets between the physical network and the virtual network via the network connection container based on the routing information.
