Abstract
A method and system for selecting a transmission format of a first wireless device in a wireless communication network are provided. According to one aspect, a method for selecting a transmission format includes determining a speed of the first wireless device, selecting a transmission format based on the speed of the first wireless device.

A method for use in a wireless device of selecting a transmission format of a first wireless device in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
- determining a speed of the first wireless device;
- and
- selecting a transmission format for the first wireless device based on the speed of the first wireless device.
A first wireless device for use in a wireless communication network, the first wireless device being configured to select a transmission format, the first wireless device comprising:
- processing circuitry configured to:
- determine a speed of the first wireless device;
- and
- select a transmission format for the first wireless device based on the speed of the first wireless device.
