Method of Connecting One or More Contactless Components to a Single Antenna, and Corresponding System

An electronic device comprising:

• a first antenna comprising a contactless communication protocol compatible component;
• an irremovable component coupled to the first antenna in a first configuration;
• a removable component coupled to the first antenna;
• an impedance matching circuit coupled to the first antenna comprising a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and a third capacitor, wherein the second capacitor and the third capacitor are deactivated when the irremovable component is coupled to the first antenna in the first configuration;
• and
• a controller coupled to the impedance matching circuit configured to activate the second capacitor and the third capacitor when the removable component is decoupled from the first antenna in a second configuration.
