Energy management system

An energy management system comprising:

• a power generating device including at least one photovoltaic panel and a photovoltaic converter configured to output power;
• a direct-current voltage bus coupled to the power generating device to receive the output power;
• at least one bidirectional DC-DC converter connected to the direct-current voltage bus and configured to receive a direct-current voltage from the direct-current voltage bus or output the direct-current voltage to the direct-current voltage bus;
• an inverter connected to the direct-current voltage bus and configured to convert the direct-current voltage into an alternating-current voltage;
• and
• a controller configured to control an output power of the inverter, such that when the output power of the inverter or an output power of the bidirectional DC-DC converter varies in response to a variation in an output current of the power generating device, the controller is configured to adjust an offset of gain characteristics of the bidirectional DC-DC converter to gain characteristics of the inverter to control the output power of the inverter.

A method for energy management, the method comprising:

• generating power by a power generating device that includes at least one photovoltaic panel and a photovoltaic converter;
• outputting, by the photovoltaic converter, the generated power to a direct-current voltage bus coupled to the power generating device;
• either receiving, by at least one bidirectional DC-DC converter, a direct-current voltage from the direct-current voltage bus or outputting, by at least one bidirectional DC-DC converter, the direct-current voltage to the direct-current voltage bus;
• converting, by an inverter connected to the direct-current voltage bus, the direct-current voltage into an alternating-current voltage;
• and
• controlling an output power of the inverter, such that when the output power of the inverter or an output power of the bidirectional DC-DC converter varies in response to a variation in an output current of the power generating device, an offset of gain characteristics of the bidirectional DC-DC converter to gain characteristics of the inverter is adjusted to control the output power of the inverter.
