A bridge for a stringed musical instrument, said bridge comprising:
- an injection or compression molded bridge body, said bridge body comprising a lower side comprising a plurality of pockets.
A stringed instrument comprising:
- a soundboard;
- a bridge attached to the soundboard, the bridge comprising a surface in contact with the soundboard;
- and
- a plurality of strings attached to the bridge;
- wherein the bridge comprises a hollow internal pocket.
