Method for Simulating a Traditional Casino Keno Game Experience Using a Dedicated Set of Playing Cards

A method for simulating a traditional casino Keno game experience using a specially designed deck of playing cards to determine play rather having a player mark a traditional Keno card comprising the following steps;

• (AA) providing an at least one user account, wherein the user account is associated a plurality of guessed spots that appear on a traditional Keno card;
• (BB) drawing a card from a specially designed deck of eighty cards wherein each of the cards in the deck contains a unique number that is associated with a spot on the traditional Keno card;
• (CC) identifying spots on a simulated Keno card by a computer, wherein each spot corresponds to a one card drawn from said specially designed deck of eighty cards;
• (DD) each card of the specially design deck of eighty playing cards having a scannable medium containing the corresponding unique number of the card;
• (EE) scanning the scannable medium containing the unique number of the card;
• (FF) transmitting the unique number of the scanned card to the computer, the computer associating a spot on the simulated Keno card with the unique number of the scanned card, said computer indicating the spot on the simulated Keno card associated with the unique number;
• (GG) repeating steps (BB) and (FF) for a number of iterations in order to compile a set of winning numbers;
• (HH) comparing the set of winning numbers against the plurality of guessed spots associated with the user account in order to identify a set of matching spots by the computer;
• (II) managing a primary payout transaction between the computer and the user account, if the set of matching spots is identified by the computer during step (HH);
• and
• (JJ) displaying the simulated Keno card with the set of winning numbers against the plurality of guessed spots associated with the user account on a video monitor.

A specialty card shoe used in conjunction with a method for simulation a traditional casino Keno game experience using a deck of eighty playing cards to determine play rather than having a player mark a traditional Keno card the specialty card shoe comprising:

• at least one deck of eighty playing cards, each card further comprising a scannable medium containing a unique number for each card of the at least one deck of eighty playing cards;
• a scanner for scanning the scannable medium and extracting the unique number of any card of the at least one deck of eighty cards;
• a transmitter for transmitting the unique number of the scanned card to a computer, the computer associated a spot on a simulated Keno card with the unique number of the scanned card, the computer indicating the spot on a simulated Keno card associated with the unique number;
• and
• the card shoe repeating the steps of scanning and transmitting the unique numbers of playing cards from the at least one deck of eighty playing cards for a total of twenty iterations, the card shoe ceasing scanning functions when twenty iterations is reached.
