Method for Unlocking Screen by Using Fingerprint and Terminal

A method for unlocking a screen using a fingerprint, the method comprising:

• concurrently sending, by a fingerprint sensor, a first notification to a control chip and a second notification to a display driver chip of a screen when detecting that a finger presses or touches a fingerprint recognition area;
• completing, by the display driver chip, according to the second notification, and before the screen is turned on, preparation work;
• verifying, by the control chip and according to the first notification, fingerprint information collected by the fingerprint sensor and pre-stored fingerprint information;
• and
• unlocking and turning on the screen when the verifying succeeds.

A terminal comprising:

• a control. chip;
• a screen;
• a display driver chip associated with the screen;
• a fingerprint recognition area;
• and
• a fingerprint sensor configured to concurrently send a first notification to the control chip and a second notification to the display driver chip when detecting that a finger presses or touches the fingerprint recognition area,
• wherein the display driver chip is configured to complete, according to the second notification and before the screen is turned on, preparation work,
• wherein the control chip is configured to verify, according to the first notification, fingerprint information collected by the fingerprint sensor and pre-stored fingerprint information, and
• wherein he screen is configured to unlock and turn on when the verification succeeds.

A method for unlocking a screen by using a fingerprint, the method comprising:

• sending, by a fingerprint sensor, a first notification to a control chip and a second notification to a display driver chip of a screen when detecting that a finger touches a fingerprint recognition area;
• turning on, by the display driver chip and according to the second notification, the screen;
• verifying, by the control chip and according to the first notification, fingerprint information collected by the fingerprint sensor and pre-stored fingerprint information;
• and
• unlocking the screen when the verifying succeeds.
