Abstract
Apparatus information of an external apparatus is obtained by a wireless communication, and a display unit is caused to display a screen that an application for causing the external apparatus to execute a function provides. The display unit is caused to display a guidance screen that guides to execution of a recommended function based on the obtained apparatus information.

An information processing apparatus, comprising:
- an obtainment unit configured to obtain apparatus information of an external apparatus by a wireless communication;
- and
- a display control unit configured to cause a display unit to display a screen that an application for causing the external apparatus to execute a function provides, wherein
- the display control unit causes the display unit to display a guidance screen that guides to execution of a recommended function based on the apparatus information obtained by the obtainment unit.
