Abstract
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for reducing battery consumption in a low-power mode in an electronic device, and the electronic device includes: a measurement module configured to measure an amount of consumption current of a battery in a low-power mode; a determination module configured to determine a time to clean at least one process; and a cleaning module configured to, when it is determined that it is necessary to clean at least one process, terminate at least one process which is being operated in the low-power mode.

An electronic device comprising:
- a measurement module configured to measure an amount of consumption current of a battery in a low-power mode;
- a determination module configured to determine a time to clean at least one process;
- and
- a cleaning module configured to, when it is determined that it is necessary to clean at least one process, terminate at least one process which is being operated in the low-power mode.
A method of an electronic device, comprising:
- determining whether a battery is consumed by a predetermined threshold value or more based on an amount of consumption current of the battery in a low-power mode;
- and
- when the battery is consumed by the predetermined threshold value or more, terminating at least one process which is being currently operated.
