Control apparatus for utility vehicle

An apparatus for controlling operation of a utility vehicle that is driven by a prime mover o run within a working area, comprising:

• an electronic control unit having a CPU and a memory,
• wherein the CPU is configured to function as
• a map generating unit configured to generate a map by arraying multiple cells in a grid pattern with respect to the working area;
• an area calculating unit configured to calculate area of the working area based on the map generated by the map generating unit;
• a required work period calculating unit configured to calculate required work period per unit time period in accordance with first characteristics with respect to the area of the working area calculated by the area calculating unit;
• a user input prompting unit configured to show user information including at least the area of the working area calculated by the area calculating unit and the required work period calculated by the required work period calculating unit to prompt the user to input the user's preferred work period and preferred working time of day;
• and
• a work controlling unit configured to calculate a target work schedule by distributing the required work period within the unit time period in accordance with second characteristics based on the user's preferred work period and preferred working time of day inputted by the user in response to prompting of user input prompting unit, and controlling work in accordance with the calculated target work schedule.
