Position detecting device and structure for using position detecting device

A structure for using a position detecting device, comprising:

• a position detecting device including first magnet and a second magnet and a detecting element configured to detect a direction of a magnetic field generated by the first magnet and the second magnet;
• and
• an object to be detected formed of a magnetic substance and affecting a direction of the magnetic field in accordance with movement of the object to be detected, wherein
• the first magnet and the second magnet are disposed with magnetic poles thereof having the same polarity arranged opposing each other, and
• the direction of magnetic field detected by the detecting element changes as the object to be detected moves in an opposing direction between the first magnet and the second magnet.
