A securing device for a window shade includes a securing member connected to the bottom bar of the window shade, and the securing member has a first end and a second end. The width of the at least one securing slot is gradually narrowed from the second end toward the first end of the securing member. The narrowest end of the at least one securing slot is a clamping notch which is used to clamp the wire of the window shade.
