A method for activating TLR7 in a subject comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of a compound of formula (I)
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or polymorph thereof, wherein
- Y is C1-4 alkylene;
- R1 is selected from the group consisting of imidazolyl, pyrimidyl, pyrrolyl, pyrazolyl, furyl, oxazolyl, oxadiazolyl, isoxazolyl, pyrazinyl and thiazolyl, wherein R1 is optionally substituted by one or more substituents independently selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, C1-6 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, C3-6cycloalkyl, phenyl, halogen, hydroxyl-C1-4 alkyl, C1-4alkoxy-, C1-4-alkyl- and C1-4alkyl-diethoxyphosphoryl;
- and
- R2 is aryl2 or heterocyclyl.
A method for inducing interferon production in a subject, comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of a compound a compound of formula (I)
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or polymorph thereof, wherein
- Y is C1-4 alkylene;
- R1 is selected from the group consisting of imidazolyl, pyrimidyl, pyrrolyl, pyrazolyl, furyl, oxazolyl, oxadiazolyl, isoxazolyl, pyrazinyl and thiazolyl, wherein R1 is optionally substituted by one or more substituents independently selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, C1-6 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, C3-6cycloalkyl, phenyl, halogen, hydroxyl-C1-4 alkyl, C1-4-alkoxy-, C1-4-alkyl- and C1-4alkyl-diethoxyphosphoryl;
- and
- R2 is aryl2 or heterocyclyl.
A method of treating a viral infection in a subject comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of a compound of formula (I)
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or polymorph thereof, wherein
- Y is C1-4 alkylene;
- R1 is selected from the group consisting of imidazolyl, pyrimidyl, pyrrolyl, pyrazolyl, furyl, oxazolyl, oxadiazolyl, isoxazolyl, pyrazinyl and thiazolyl, wherein R1 is optionally substituted by one or more substituents independently selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, C1-6 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, C3-6cycloalkyl, phenyl, halogen, hydroxyl-C1-4 alkyl, C1-4alkoxy-, C1-4-alkyl- and C1-4alkyl-diethoxyphosphoryl;
- and
- R2 is aryl2 or heterocyclyl.
A method of treating a viral infection in a subject comprising administering to said subject a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula (I)
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or polymorph thereof, wherein
- Y is C1-4 alkylene;
- R1 is selected from the group consisting of imidazolyl, pyrimidyl, pyrrolyl, pyrazolyl, furyl, oxazolyl, oxadiazolyl, isoxazolyl, pyrazinyl and thiazolyl, wherein R1 is optionally substituted by one or more substituents independently selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, C1-6 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, C3-6cycloalkyl, phenyl, halogen, hydroxyl-C1-4 alkyl, C1-4alkoxy-, C1-4-alkyl- and C1-4alkyl-diethoxyphosphoryl;
- R2 is aryl2 or heterocyclyl;
- and
- one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, diluents or carriers.
