Air Treatment Module

A system for treating air within a passenger suite of an aircraft, comprising:

• an air treatment module comprising
• an enclosure,
• an air intake aperture disposed on a first surface of the enclosure,
• at least one air treatment flow path defined within the enclosure,
• a plurality of air treatment components disposed in the at least one air treatment flow path, including
• an air duct comprising a first end receiving air received through the air intake aperture, the air duct configured to direct air through a respective flow path of the at least one air treatment flow path, and
• at least one of i) a removable cartridge containing a scented medium, wherein the removable cartridge is disposed within the air duct such that the scented medium is configured to be absorbed into air passing through the air duct, and ii) an air purifying component disposed within the air duct, and
• an air exhaust vent disposed on a second surface of the enclosure, a discharge end of the air duct of each air treatment flow path of the at least one air treatment flow path being directed out the air exhaust port for discharging air into the passenger suite;
• and
• control circuitry comprising processing circuitry, and a non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon, wherein the instructions, when executed by the control circuitry, cause the control circuitry to
• receive at least one selection from a computing device related to a scent, or an air purification setting, and
• translate the at least one selection into control signals to adjust at least one setting to one or more of the purifier and direction of air into a particular air treatment control path of the at least one air treatment control path.
