Abstract
A system includes a processor configured to predict upcoming driver behavior based on a correlation between received context variables and previously observed driver behavior. The processor is also configured to request confirmation that predicted behavior is intended by a driver. Further, the processor is configured to change an in-vehicle display to include a control or feature relevant to the predicted behavior, upon confirmation receipt.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- predict driver behavior based on a correlation between received context variable values and previously observed driver behavior;
- request confirmation that predicted behavior is intended by a driver;
- responsive to confirmation receipt, change an in-vehicle display to include a control or feature relevant to the predicted behavior.
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving a plurality of context variables and corresponding variable values;
- predicting driver behavior based on the received context variable values compared to context variable values received and stored with respect to observed driver behavior;
- and
- automatically changing a vehicle display to display a control or feature relevant to the predicted behavior.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium, storing instructions that, when executed, cause a processor to execute a method comprising:
- receiving a plurality of context variables;
- predicting driver behavior based on the received context variable values compared to context variable values received and stored with respect to observed driver behavior;
- and
- automatically changing a vehicle display to display a control or feature relevant to the predicted behavior.
